At the Kona Baldwin Hale (home) we have a tradition where Elvis and Birgit (wife) wait in the driveway for me to pull in from my island commute. (She tracks me).
When my headlights hit the stairs, Elvis will prance on all fours and on special nights he will howl to me; as my heart swells with love for these two.
No matter if returning home or just back from the garage, Elvis is always excited to greet you, and it feels so good.
So, a side effect to “Staying at Home”, is Elvis has stopped this precious over the top greeting. I miss it and hope we can again soon. Guess I’ll take out the trash.
Elvis is in the building, pandemic no problem.
Happy Home Hump
