Mama don’t let your babies grow up to be doggie lovers, unless you are preparing to see them cry.
I don’t know why God made humans last so much longer than our beloved fur family, but I know he didn’t text me about it.
Elvis is fine today but we know it will be our turn someday… Saying good bye is so hard for us two leggers to do, and you may have to do it a few sad times. We as humans know we will live many dog lives in our life time, but it never gets any easier, though it is said that “It makes us better humans”.
So, please take photos of them in their favorite places, playing, sleeping, a close up or two, that nose, and those ever-loving eyes. You will be enriched every time you glance at them. You will have those fur memories forever and yes you may flood your face.
Some may not have known your name, but they know your smiling tail wagging face from the roads and trails. They, Elvis & I will very much miss seeing you in the morning sun.
Aloha and RIP to our fur friends passing over the rainbow bridge to doggie heaven. To all our New fur buddies, Aloha, we can’t wait to sniff sniff you on the trails of our lives.
