Shell Hump Discovery

2017-11-07_0002.jpg    Yes, I believe 2-4-year olds can rule the world – just ask ’em. I find working with someone that does not wish to be photographed  challenging but a 36 month takes the cake, when they say no it’s NO, so I have to be very clever, cunning and fast.
They know all about bribery and lobbying. You must understand from the time they blinked those pretty eye lashes they have been photographed 1,000 times over.
So, when “Uncle Beach” shows up with his big fancy camera they say like “So what? No big deal, you should have seen the size of the iPhone when I was a week old, it was huge!”
I know keeping their attention will be tough so I help myself by planting sea shells ahead of time and hope to be in the right place at the right time when they find them.
The joy of finding a treasure at the beach is a great trophy for both the beachcomber and the photographer.

The sea shell is named Opihi in Hawaiian which translates to “hard headed” or “stubborn”. Often translated back to mean 3 year olds.
Hope you enjoyed this Hump day story.
