In wedding photography you have to be ready for the unexpected, because when it happens, it usually means great pics.
Just as the wedding was winding down, family pics completed and getting ready to say goodbye ….. the wedding party started whispering to each other and then suddenly they all started sprinting for the water.
I had to act fast, I ran cameras in hand into the knee high waters to get the shots. The bride was going to throw the dress away but I fished it out of the trash figuring some future bride would need it some day. Seven years later it is still hanging in our laundry room.
