Visits with Patty (Mom), have become extremely fulfilling to me. Usually I would be happy and looking forward to being with her on her Birthday. So today I woke up really sad.
I was excited to be sharing an artichoke and do some painting together. We won’t be hanging in her beautiful gardens with her cute doggies. No not this time.
I’m so bummed to be missing her big 89th birthday dinner tonight with family, it’s going to hurt plenty.
All thanks to a deadly bug, I’ll be staying home.
