Lavaman Keauhou 2013
Aloha Hump Day,
Here we go again, another hump day photo to pump up your spirit for life. Just last week I wrote about another inspirational man from 20 years ago, and then here at the Lavaman Triathlon comes Japan’s star Masafumi Yasui into my frame ………I first heard the sound from bystanders, it’s a gasp followed by silence, then loud cheering & clapping like for no other athlete.
So I zoom in and see these crutches flying across the thick grass of the Keauhou golf course then up a cart path and straight into my 200mm Canon lens, and he is smiling, I mean grinning from ear to ear.
This guy is having the time of his life and I’m unhappy because my ice melted.
Wow! Thanks for the reminder Masafumi ……….AGAIN.
