We looked at rings at the local jewelry store, kind of backed out on air when we saw the investment. Then we found a shop that was more our style, simple and cheap.
The new jeweler promised the rings would be ready with inscription (Birgit & David FOREVER) in an hour. This is unheard in Kona, incredible service at Hawai’i Titanium Rings.
I am so grateful to have married a woman who doesn’t need expensive jewelry. Birgit came from Austria where they speak German, English is her second language with a beautiful accent.
So, when we drove away, she looked inside the ring and said, “Um…FOREVER? what is the translation for FOREVER?”
We laughed and laughed, we started with humor, still got giggles 12 years now and counting.
