All fired up in the back of his limo (Scion), Elvis is on a sweet mission of Love. To see his sweet hearts at the Mauna Kea Resort. Melanie, Misty, Amy Joy, Nikki, Shanelle, Yuko, Tovah, Marguerite…. were all there waiting in the lobby to greet “The King” when he arrived . It’s not his first visit to the iconic establishment on the worlds most beautiful white sandy beach, he is considered a regular, a returning guest, a VIP! Very Impressive Pup.
We dressed him as Elvis Presley the rock star, guitar and all, red scarf, black wig (he hated the wig) and a diamond studded cape. Oh yes, walking with the guitar was bit, let’s say “out of tune”. But soon he was posing for selfies by the Buddha statue while loving up the staff and surprised guest. What an incredible welcome he received and oh, he loves the cool cobalt blue tile of the beautiful Mauna Kea lobby on a hot October afternoon.
Then it was off to the Four Seasons Resort at Hualalai where security announced “Elvis is in the building”. Valet extraordinaire Ross greeted us as we pulled up with his greatest admiration and charm, giving Elvis the time to pose with all the other valets and bellman.
He was welcomed by honeymooners and staff alike as he made the lobby his personal lounge for portraits. Then off to trick or treat. It was Elvis’s day to shine and shine he did. We hope to do again and again.
