Doxen heaven

Here is a not so short story of a short dog with a long life. Cleo and her brother Oscar were living with sketchy future with them being old and their fur daddy passing in a nearby hospital to cancer. They were fed by his loving friends as they lived in a car port waiting and waiting for their outcome in life with the up coming hot Fresno summer wasn’t making it any easier on them.
They were very attached to their fur-dad and missed him terribly. Well he was a Fresno Rotarian and so was my Pops and some other Rotarian said “Hey Robin you are a Doxen guy, why don’t you check them out?”.  Previous conversations with him were NO MORE DOGS.
Hours later retired Fresno appraiser Robin Baldwin had retrieved two new family members and headed home to meet Mom Mimi and Dog Heaven.
They had good years together, happy years, they were cared for like royalty, they knew who rescued them and they loved their Mimi and Pops.
Today Cleo left for heaven to meet up with Oscar and Pops. Give them a kiss for me.
Happy Hump Day!
