Dolphin time

Swimming with spinner dolphins is an exceptional experience that should be at the top of your Hawaiian bucket list.
This week my family and I swam out past the coral heads to the white sandy bottom of the bay. A dozen spinners slowly swam past us 10 foot below.
Every 5-10 minutes they would return again and again to gift us with direct eye contact.   “This is the exceptional part that warms your insides”.
In truth, this is how they rest as a team protecting each other in safe waters. I didn’t feel I was disturbing them but I’m not a dolphin.
This has become a very popular and highly controversial activity in the Kona waters.
Time will tell.
                             Happy Hump day
