Happy Hump Day,

In Hawaii it is considered a blessing when it uas (rains) at your Male’ Ana (wedding). I don’t think many wedding photographers would agree.
Well this weekend didn’t disappoint with the glorious wedding of Allen & Kanoe at the Hulihe`e Palace in Kona, an incredibly special and powerful place to get married.
As the bride & groom walked down the aisle hand in hand, you felt a drop or two, then a bit of drizzle during the family portraits (not good for the ladies hairdos) and then right as we finished with the Tutus (grandmothers), it just dumped buckets. Perfect timing.
Fortunately the wedding coordinator Rachael Halpern from Vintage & Lace had planned ahead with a fantastic “see through” clear top tent so the reception could go on and on. It was a beautiful gathering of two families, many blessings to the bride and groom.

Hope you enjoyed our Hump Day story.
Aloha,

The Baldwins
